RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking a Senior Unity Engineer in Orlando, FL.
Summary:
This position will be handling the new and existing features of Unity based VR training application, content editor and tools. The right candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of game engines including rendering, multi-threading, HUDs, sound, and networking. The Senior Unity Engineer will be producing code that coheres to coding standards of the client, and will also need experience in identifying and correcting software bugs.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar degree or comparable experience
* 6+ years of creating and delivering professional game, training simulation or similar applications
* Experience designing and developing game software
* Experience creating Unity-based applications for VR platforms
* Experience with advanced Unity debugging and optimization experience
* Advanced knowledge and experience usage of the Unity Game Engine and Editor
* C# skills with ability to write performant code
* Ability to architect maintainable and extensible code
* Ability to deliver in accordance with prescribed deadlines, on time and of high quality
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
