QA Automation Tester with Selenium - $47 CTC - HYBRID (CURRENT WI Resident)

Location Requirement: Must be a CURRENT WI resident. No relocation allowed. This is a hybrid role with 40% onsite and 60% remote.

This is an IT Quality Assurance (QA) position responsible for performing advanced IS work that plays a critical role in ensuring that the Department of Revenues (DOR) QA practices, processes, and procedures are well-conceived so that the Division of Technology Services (DTS) implements high quality systems that support the work of DOR. The position is responsible for the development and execution of test cases, and test scripts, reviewing and analyzing system specifications, work with the development team in performing QA analysis, and striving to continually learn and understand latest software testing methodologies and tools.

This position works with a variety of DOR, other State agency, and vendor personnel in accomplishing job
duties. This position performs work under general review of the SLF (State and Local Finance) Business Applications Development Management Information Chief with objectives and priorities established by overall work unit directives.

KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to provide IT quality assurance support in a large, complex environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge and skills in IT quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Comprehensive skill in using quality assurance tools suites, including automated tools and writing testing scripts.
• Skill in writing JavaScript code.
• Skill in writing HTML/CSS code.
• Knowledge of formal software testing, configuration management practices, and business requirement
  management.
• Knowledge of agency IT standards and policies. Knowledge of DOR and DTS policies, procedures,
  standards, and internal applications.
• Knowledge of department IS architecture, application development methodologies, standards, and practices.
