Job Description:
Thinking Minds' client is seeking a highly experienced SAP IBP Specialist to support and enhance business planning processes through expert-level SAP IBP capabilities. This is a remote role that requires working in EST hours and is ideal for professionals with deep technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration skills.
The selected consultant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective use and optimization of the SAP IBP module. Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive support for demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization, configuring the module to meet business objectives, and resolving technical issues promptly to maintain operational continuity.
This role involves direct interaction with business stakeholders and end-users to gather and translate business needs into technical solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, finance, and operations to align planning processes with strategic goals. A crucial part of the role includes managing and resolving issues logged in ServiceNow, ensuring high user satisfaction and system efficiency.
The position also requires strong knowledge of SAP integrations, particularly with SAP S/4HANA, to support seamless data flow and functionality across platforms. Additionally, the consultant will lead and support system testing and user acceptance testing to validate system changes and enhancements.
