RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Programmer/Writer in Redmond, WA. The role blends technical project management with hands-on engineering work in Azure DevOps, offering opportunities to influence both the process and technical outcomes. It is remote, PST-focused, and allows for autonomy in driving projects and technical documentation.
Typical Day in the Role:
* Purpose of the Team: The team is seeking a technically minded individual to support project management activities, with a strong focus on Azure DevOps and technical writing; The role is designed to move projects forward efficiently and provide technical and analytical information for decision-making
* Key Projects: Projects involve managing schedules, status reports, creating functional specifications, and overseeing the implementation of technical solutions using Azure DevOps
* Typical Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm: Tasks include project design, scope management, cost control, quality performance reporting, resource management, leading development teams, defining test plans, and facilitating testing processes; The operating rhythm is project-based, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions and maintaining project momentum
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or English, journalism, communications
* 8+ years Azure DevOps experience, at least 2 years as an Administrator or role with above responsibilities
* 3+ years of experience as a MS D365 Developer
* Experience working at Microsoft (Either as a Vendor or FTE)
* Experience configuring and creating solutions in Azure DevOps
* Experience integrating Azure DevOps with Power Platform Solutions
* Experience configuring managed connections with other Microsoft products like Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI
* Understanding of customizing workflows and supporting integration with code
* Knowledge of customizations using JavaScript or Power Automate
* Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Certifications:
* Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert; Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
* Nice-to-Have: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner
* Nice-to-Have: Microsoft Certified Trainer
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
