QA Automation Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical testing strategies.
• Collaborate with Architects, Developers, and Product Owners to define and document user stories and testing requirements.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test suites, analyze results, and debug failures.
• Reproduce, document, and troubleshoot reported issues in collaboration with development teams.
• Support manual testing when necessary to supplement automated efforts.
• Write clean, maintainable test code in Java or C# using standard development tools.
• Assess impact of code changes on test environments and adjust testing strategy accordingly.
• Communicate test findings clearly with stakeholders and contribute to defect triaging and resolution.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in test automation for web and enterprise applications.
• Strong programming skills in Java or C#.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
• Proficient with Git, Bitbucket, or TFVC for source control.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, TFS, or ALM for tracking and managing work.
• Experience testing cloud-based applications and web services using Postman, SOAPUI, or ReadyAPI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments and across distributed teams.
