Engineers on the Network Engineering Operations (NE-OPS) team are responsible for providing operation support of all network systems. The NE-OPS team is also responsible for configuring, supporting, and maintaining enterprise networking monitoring systems.
Responsibilities:
? Installation, configuration, integration, and support of network systems
? Staging and deployment of network operating systems
? Work with Network Engineering teams on defining proper alerts and thresholds for network systems
? Work with Network Support on any network alerting or monitoring issues.
? Assist with vulnerability remediation
? Problem-determination and resolution
? Tier 3 support escalation and on-call rotation
? Project team participation
? New technology awareness, research, and system integration
#LI-JB1 ? Bachelor?s degree in Network Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines, or equivalent experience
? Basic knowledge of networking principles
Preferred Qualifications:
? CCNA Certification
? Solid understanding and working knowledge of enterprise networks
? Solid understanding and working knowledge of firewalls and next gen firewalls
? Experience with networking tools including NetMRI, Broadcom Spectrum/Performance Center, ServiceNow, and HP Network ? CCNA Certification
? Solid understanding and working knowledge of enterprise networks
? Solid understanding and working knowledge of firewalls and next gen firewalls
? Experience with networking tools including NetMRI, Broadcom Spectrum/Performance Center, ServiceNow, and HP Network Automation
? Understanding of networking protocols
? Experience with Cisco Nexus devices
