Job Title: Integration Architect Microsoft Ecosystem

Duration: 6 Months CTH

Location: This will be remote with some travel to client location.

We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies and BizTalk Server, to lead the transformation of enterprise integration landscape. This role is pivotal in defining the future-state integration architecture, implementing scalable and modern integration solutions, and driving the migration from legacy BizTalk-based systems to a modern cloud-native or hybrid integration.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategy

• Define the target-state integration architecture, aligned with enterprise IT strategy and business objectives.
• Assess the current BizTalk-based integration landscape and identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities for modernization.
• Develop a phased migration roadmap from BizTalk to modern integration platforms (e.g., Azure Integration Services or others).
• Establish integration patterns, governance standards, and reusable design principles.

Solution Design & Implementation

• Lead the design and development of integration solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, etc.
• Work closely with solution architects, developers, and DevOps to ensure architecture is implemented correctly.
• Provide guidance on integration security, scalability, resiliency, and monitoring.

Migration Leadership

• Define and lead POCs (proofs of concept) and pilots to validate proposed approaches.
• Ensure business continuity and minimal disruption during migrations.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, application development, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Mentor and guide integration developers and junior architects.
• Communicate architectural decisions, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration architecture and solution design.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server, including orchestrations, pipelines, and adapters.
• Proven experience designing and implementing integration solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid).
• Experience defining and implementing integration governance, standards, and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of enterprise application integration (EAI), ESB, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
