BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated InfoSec Analyst for an opportunity in Reston, VA.

Position Title: InfoSec Analyst

Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid)

Anticipated Start Date: 08/04/2025

Expected Duration: 6+ months contract with strong possibility of extension

Job Type: [FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY) [CONTRACT], [HYBRID]

Pay Range: $46.09/hr. - $47.45/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

• Resolve application issues, client communications and actively engage in support and operations

• Respond to trouble/support calls for applications in production to make quick repair to keep application running in production


• Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies. Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives.


• Understand and utilize DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy, test and promote new or updated features.


• Create or Update documentation in support of development efforts. Ex: detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.


• Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed.


• Familiar with other cloud services like azure or Google Cloud Platform.


• Good Communication and Articulation skills


• Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking


• Prior Identity and Access Management experience


• Experience with customer support


• Experience writing technical documentation and providing guidance to other teams.


• Excel proficiency


• Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, MyServices, etc.

Required Skills
