Summary:
CEI's client in the telecommunications industry is seeking a skilled Video QA Technician. They will perform basic technical quality control of media, including, but not limited to, audio/video levels, closed captioning, aspect ratio, and metadata.
Job at a Glance:
  • Contract role
  • $14/hr on W2
  • Centennial, CO
  • Schedule: 5 days 8-hour shifts or 4 days 10-hour shifts (1-day remote)
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct basic technical quality control of media, including audio/video levels, closed captioning, aspect ratio, and metadata.
  • Process media and metadata from content providers and verify error-free status.
  • Ensure media and metadata adhere to specifications and standards.
  • Escalate anomalies to coordinators for resolution.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships.
  • Perform light troubleshooting and escalate issues as needed.

Certifications:
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (preferred)

Experience Requirements:
  • 1+ years in Broadcast Operations, Editing, or related field
  • Focus on monitoring and observability
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • High School or Equivalent required
