Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
First Citizens Bank is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Owner to help drive the continued evolution of our digital channels - including web, mobile, and other client-facing platforms - with a strong focus on the internal development of a corporate client portal. This portal serves as a critical platform for delivering secure, streamlined, and value-added services to our business clients. This role is essential to executing the digital roadmap defined by product leadership and ensuring that the portal continues to evolve in alignment with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and broader business objectives.
As a senior member of the digital product team, you will take ownership of translating strategic objectives into actionable product requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver digital experiences that enhance client engagement, satisfaction, and long-term value. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, support teams, and operations teams to ensure the portal remains a trusted and essential platform for our clients.
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for internally developed client-facing digital platform by collaborating with stakeholders across departments.
Define and refine user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
Work closely with UX/UI designers and developers to translate business needs into a well-structured, user-friendly client-facing application..
Identify gaps, pain points, and opportunities for process improvement
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of requirements with technical capabilities.
Support UAT, and deployment by validating requirements and addressing any gaps.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
Maintain and update business requirement documents as the platform evolves.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting

The base pay for this position is generally between $101,000 and $135,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. - Experience working with Treasury Management applications in regards to ACH, wires, information reporting, etc is a plus.
- Strong understanding of systems applications
- Experience building out system portals
- Experience working in Agile project environments
- Ability to support production teams during production go-live
