Description
This position requires the Systems Engineer to work with limited supervision as part of the Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS) program team to provide operational support for maintaining the hardware and software platform for the FAA's information system.
Position involves information systems engineering, functional analysis of ATC/M system requirements,
development, production, test, and evaluation of related information systems. Includes, but not limited to, systems engineering activities oversight, demonstrated expertise with new and legacy systems, technical alternative analyses, acquisition management of information systems, and information management tools.
The successful candidate requires systems engineering, software and hardware engineering, testing, integration, and operational support. The candidate will also need to provide site support, development, configuration, testing, documentation, risk assessment, evaluation, subject matter expertise, operations integration, and impact analysis to new system components or capabilities that affect the National Airspace System (NAS).
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree and a minimum of 0-5 years' experience required.

? RedHat Linux knowledge
? Expertise with MS Office Suite
