We are seeking an experienced PowerBuilder Developer The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PowerBuilder development, Oracle PL/SQL, and legacy system troubleshooting, with additional experience in modern technologies such as JavaScript frameworks and Git.
Key Responsibilities:-
Collaborate with MNIT staff and MDH stakeholders to resolve bugs, defects, and implement enhancements using PowerBuilder and PL/SQL.

Analyze and troubleshoot issues in legacy PowerBuilder applications and provide effective solutions.

Support application modernization efforts related to the Drinking Water Protection program.

Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, requirements gathering, and Agile ceremonies.

Perform unit and integration testing following MNIT standards.

Assist with QA and UAT testing activities in alignment with MNIT/MDH procedures.

Manage source code using Git, and follow established change and release management protocols.

Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to State IT staff.

Support future Java-based application development or migrations as directed.

Deliver accurate task estimates and communicate progress, issues, and blockers effectively.

Proven experience in PowerBuilder application development

Strong proficiency in PL/SQL for database procedures and CRUD operations

Familiarity with PFC (PowerBuilder Foundation Classes) libraries

Experience in Client-Server application development (VB, Delphi, or PowerBuilder)

Hands-on knowledge of Git for source code management

Proficiency in Oracle RDBMS and SQL view creation

Demonstrated ability to pick up and maintain legacy codebases

Experience with JavaScript and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue

Comfortable working in Agile or hybrid environments with tools like Jira

Experience with State or public health agency IT environments

Familiarity with enterprise modernization efforts
