**Job Summary**:
Seeking a talented individual with expertise in data modeling and design within the Google Cloud Platform environment. The role will involve developing data structures that enable efficient data storage and optimized query performance to support our analytics initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement robust, scalable data models on Google Cloud Platform to support the company's data warehousing and analytics needs.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize data architectures for improved data quality, performance, and scalability within Google Cloud Platform.
- Identify and integrate new Google Cloud Platform technologies and tools to enhance data modeling capabilities.
- Monitor and maintain data models to ensure they meet evolving business needs and data governance standards.
- Provide expertise and guidance on Google Cloud Platform data storage and management best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in designing and managing complex data models, preferably on Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficient with Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, Dataprep, and related data management technologies.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data processing.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certifications in Google Cloud Platform data engineering or related fields.
- Experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence software.
- Familiarity with machine learning methodologies and their impact on data modeling.

**Educational Requirements**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

**Experience Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data modeling and database design, with a focus on cloud-based solutions, particularly in Google Cloud Platform.
