Position: Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6-9 month Project Contract
Pay Rate Range: up to $80.00/hour depending on skills and experience
Project Description:
A large-scale automation initiative is underway to streamline regression testing for a major electronic medical records (EMR) platform. The system is already implemented, and the focus is now on accelerating test automation using an existing framework. The project requires a team of automation engineers to build out end-to-end test cases based on high-level business workflows.

Project Description:

Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Automate complex regression test scenarios using a structured framework.
- Translate high-level test cases from Excel into scalable, repeatable automation scripts which may involve collaborating with business users to understand detailed workflows.
- Work independently or within a team to develop and maintain automation code.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Project timeline is approximately October 2025 - March 2026 with potential to extend a few months.
- Primary automation tool: Eggplant (training available; prior experience preferred but not required).

- 5+ years of experience in test automation development.
- Experience with Eggplant automation.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC best practices.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Plusses:
- Healthcare or EMR experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with EMR systems or healthcare workflows.
