Sr. FS 90% FE 10% BE (JavaScript, Nodejs, GraphQL)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior FS 90% FE 10% BE (JavaScript, Nodejs, GraphQL) in Westlake, TX.

Duties Include:
* Collaborating with architecture, security, and UXD to build architecturally compliant apps
* Partnering with platform squads to define engineering standards, standard methodologies, and tooling
* Providing engineering thought leadership to advance Health Care benefits and management outcomes and facilitate a cloud-first approach
* Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders to analyze and solve problems
* Staying ahead of the curve by aligning architecture, user experience, and security with chapters and COEs
* Supporting a cloud-first world through upskilling and augmenting squads with deep AWS expertise

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree of Computer Science or other related field
* 9+ years of experience in designing and implementing web applications
* Professional experience in front-end frameworks and web technologies including HTML/CSS, JavaScript or Typescript, web components, Node.js or Angular
* Working knowledge of either Node or GraphQL and Typescript
* Solid knowledge with open-source stack technologies, and webapp/API security
* Strong technical background on crafting and developing enterprise digital applications with MVC design pattern, micro front-end strategy and open micro service architectures
* Proven experience with building digital restful APIs (GraphQL is a plus)
* Proven experience in DevSecOps standard and tools like Jenkins or Jenkins Core, Git/GitHub
* Proven experience in container and cloud technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes and AWS, as well as secure application development
* Solid knowledge of cloud solutions, serverless architecture, containerization strategies
* Quality-first, testable solutions using TDD and automation
* Deep understanding and experience of version control system management using various Git workflows
* In-depth knowledge secure coding standards and practices
* Strong experience in leading in a reciprocal, team-based environment with a constant focus on learning, mentoring, and encouraging others

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
