Job Details
Title: Senior Workday Recruiting Consultant
Location: Remote
Lead full-cycle Workday Recruiting implementations for state, local, education, and other
public sector organizations.
Partner with client HR and talent acquisition teams to gather requirements specific to public
sector recruiting workflows, compliance, and union considerations.
Configure and optimize modules including Job Requisitions, Recruiting Hub, Candidate
Management, Interview Scheduling, Offer Process, and Onboarding.
Design and present prototypes that demonstrate public-sector-appropriate recruiting
solutions.
Lead clients through testing and validation of Recruiting configurations and workflows.
Provide guidance on data conversion and integration strategies with existing applicant
tracking systems or legacy tools.
Support the deployment of recruiting dashboards, analytics, and reporting tools to meet
government compliance and transparency needs.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the Workday
functional team.
Ensure project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication remain aligned
throughout all phases of the project.
What You Will Bring For Success
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or related field.
3+ years of Workday consulting experience, with a primary focus on Workday Recruiting.
At least 1 year of experience working with public sector clients (state, local, federal, or K-12).
Proven expertise in delivering and configuring Workday Recruiting modules end-to-end.
Active Workday Certification in Recruiting required and must be current.
Familiarity with public sector recruiting structures, including job classification, requisition
approvals, union or civil service requirements, and applicant transparency policies.
Experience managing government or education sector client relationships and stakeholder
communication.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in complex project environments.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel up to 30%.
Prior experience working with government clients on HR modernization or talent system
transformation is strongly preferred.
