Job Description:

We are seeking self-motivated, team-oriented user experience practitioners who are prepared to challenge requirement focused development with a user-centered design process built around empathy for our users. Our hybrid-remote UX team is responsible for driving user experience through a process of research discovery and solution framing - ultimately delivering the best product experience for our users while additionally providing industry-leading business solutions for our customers.

Our User Experience Designers are responsible for organizing and conducting user research and analysis. Then translating those findings into various types of assets necessary to convey user experience and business solutions. You will work closely with team members to research, test and gather information, analyze interaction, determine and refine features and priorities and iterate product designs from ideation to implementation. This role participates in formal and informal design critiques, partners with implementation teams to deliver a polished final product and thrives in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Embrace and exemplify humility, communication, feedback, respect, and courage
  • Be an active member of the Cotality design community to help grow and hone our design practices
  • Collaborate with your core team: technical product managers, designers, developers, and architects
  • Facilitate various methods of user research, testing, and synthesize and analyze and report findings
  • Create process flows, information and content architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
  • Learn from others (because we all have something to learn) and teach others (because we all have something to teach) ... sharing knowledge is key!
  • Be a user experience advocate and champion of the user.

Job Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional UX design experience on enterprise products.
  • A strong online portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design processes
  • Knowledge of cognitive psychology and human factors
  • Knowledge and experience in user-centered design methods/frameworks
  • Knowledge and experience with the principles of interface and interaction design
  • Experience with Design Systems; style guides, design patterns, atomic design methodology.
  • Proficiency working in Figma and other software design tools like Sketch and XD as well as a natural curiosity for new innovative tools
  • Understanding of Accessibility and Inclusive design
  • Understanding of UX Metrics and Analytics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; can communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
