Systems Engineer

Kavaliro is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a client in Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing systems to identify capabilities, limitations, and opportunities for improvement.
  
  
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions that optimize performance, scalability, and security.
  
  
• Lead the migration from on-prem environments to Microsoft Cloud, including Active Directory to Entra ID transition.
  
  
• Manage and optimize Meraki network equipment and Fortigate firewalls to ensure robust connectivity and protection.
  
  
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable system designs.
  
  
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and architecture.
  
  
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to IT team members, fostering skill growth and operational excellence.
  
  
• Ensure all solutions align with organizational goals, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
  
• 5+ years of progressive IT experience, with demonstrated success in enterprise infrastructure and systems engineering.
  
  
• Proven experience in VMware-to-Microsoft Cloud migration and Active Directory/Entra ID environments.
  
  
• Strong understanding of systems integration, architecture, and deployment methodologies.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with Meraki and Fortigate networking technologies.
  
  
• Experience with ERP systems and enterprise applications preferred.
  
  
• Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
