How You Will Make an Impact
  • Lead the design and configuration of Workday role-based, domain, and business process security.
  • Oversee security components of integrations, including SSO and EIB/API access.
  • Drive security workstreams for new modules and enterprise feature releases.
  • Maintain and enhance provisioning, de-provisioning, and user access governance.
  • Perform periodic audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.
  • Maintain detailed security documentation and reference materials.
  • Serve as the go-to advisor for security-related decisions and best practices.
  • Support training and knowledge-sharing across functional workstreams.
  • Implement enhancements and automation opportunities in access management.

Are you an experienced Workday Security expert ready to make an impact?

Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of Workday experience with at least 5+ years focused on Workday Security.
  • Deep expertise in domain security, business process security, and RBAC structures.
  • Proficiency in Workday integrations, SSO, EIB/API security, and service accounts.
  • Familiarity with security controls aligned to SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, and NIST.
  • Strong Workday reporting capability (RaaS, custom reporting).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HR, Computer Science, or a related area.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Pro Certification (Security).
  • Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
  • Prior ownership of security governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
