Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing IT staffing firm. The BDM will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new accounts in the IT sector. This role requires a strong understanding of the technology staffing landscape and a proven track record in sales and client development.
Key Responsibilities:
New Client Acquisition: Prospect, identify, and close new business opportunities with enterprise clients, MSPs, and mid-sized businesses seeking IT talent solutions.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute business development strategies to penetrate target markets and generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital outreach.
Requirement Analysis: Understand client staffing needs and work with the recruiting team to ensure delivery of qualified candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions.
Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and ensure a competitive edge.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present tailored proposals, RFPs/RFQs, and service agreements to potential clients.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions using CRM tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
3 7 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the IT staffing industry.
Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and market demands.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all organizational levels.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn, or similar).
