Principal Solution Architect to join our growing team supporting leading healthcare payor/provider environment. This is a 100% remote opportunity available to candidates based in U.S. states working eastern time zone hours.
We are looking for an architect who can lead complex enterprise solutions, mentor teams, and design scalable systems aligned with business goals-while also thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Job Description
Lead cross-functional architecture reviews and define enterprise-level solutions.
Act as the solution lead on high-impact initiatives across infrastructure, cloud, integration, and application domains.
Guide teams through SDLC, including Agile/DevOps environments, proof-of-concept designs, and delivery oversight.
Architect robust, scalable systems across domains such as:
Middleware / Microservices
Cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)
Data pipelines / streaming (Kafka)
Security and DevSecOps
Translate business needs into architectural models using tools like Draw.io, Visio, or ArchiMate.
Lead by example: mentor, coach, and encourage team spirit and innovation
Qualifications:
10+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years as a Solution/Enterprise Architect.
Demonstrated success in architecting enterprise-grade systems in healthcare payor or provider environments.
Deep expertise in at least 2 of these domains: Programming, Database/Analytics, Integration/Middleware, Infrastructure/Cloud, Security.
Experience with visual modeling tools (e.g., UML, ArchiMate, Lucidchart).
Strong soft skills: proactive communicator, mentor, team builder, consultative mindset.
Architect certification preferred (TOGAF, Open CA).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
