Data Engineer - Full Time Role

Mandatory: Databricks, Azure, Snowflake, DBT

A Data Warehouse Data Engineer is needed to support the migration of enterprise data warehouse from SQL Server to Snowflake, design optimized dimensional models aligned with the Power BI Semantic Layer and build new data marts for emerging datasets (e.g., Product Development).

The opportunity:

  • Migrate data warehouse objects from SQL Server to Snowflake, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Design and implement dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas) optimized for the Power BI Semantic Layer.
  • Develop new data marts to support additional domains such as Product Development and other evolving business needs.
  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, DBT, and Snowflake.
  • Optimize queries, warehouse performance, and semantic layer alignment.
  • Implement data quality checks, lineage, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with BI teams to deliver trusted, well-modeled datasets for reporting and analytics.

What you need:

  • Proven experience in SQL Server to Snowflake migrations.
  • Strong skills in Snowflake, Databricks, DBT, SQL, and Python.
  • Deep understanding of dimensional modeling and optimization for BI/semantic layers (Power BI).
  • Experience building data marts for new datasets and domains.
  • Background in ETL/ELT pipeline development and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with data from Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Coupa, Workday, Concur, and external partner datasets.
