Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP EWM Architect with a strong background in automation,
process optimization, and AI integration within warehouse management systems. The ideal
candidate will lead solution design and execution across a range of process improvement initiatives
aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, customer experience, and system intelligence. This role
will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with enterprise
architecture standards and clean core principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement SAP EWM solutions with a focus on automation and AI-driven enablement
- Lead automation of cancel pick, putback, and outbound code steps for reversing customer orders
- Develop intelligent onboarding processes within EWM to automatically configure users, resources,
count tolerances, and processors
- Build and deploy an order tracker for real-time visibility of Herenow orders (modeled after Domino's
pizza tracker)
- Redesign the serial number control logic to de-link specific serial number requirements from sales
order stock
- Architect a proactive picking process for Will Call orders, triggered by customer notification of
arrival en route to the branch
- Design a conversational AI support model for warehouse users using 'Joule'-style quick help;
assess integration with existing DIVA solution
- Enable RF Fleet Route Sheets in SAP BTP to support real-time logistics and mobile warehousing
operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define process KPIs, validate use cases, and deliver high-impact
solutions
- Ensure all designs follow clean core, extensibility, and upgrade-safe best practices
- Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in SAP EWM architecture, configuration, and implementation
- Demonstrated expertise in process automation within warehouse environments
- Strong understanding of sales order stock management, serial number de-linking, and warehouse
task automation
- Experience in building user-centric tools such as real-time order tracking dashboards and AI-based
support assistants
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, Event Mesh, and RF mobile enablement
- Hands-on experience with warehouse master data, RF transactions, and integration with
transportation functions
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both business and technical
stakeholders
- Knowledge of clean core, side-by-side extension strategy, and SAP upgrade-safe practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build Process Automation, and SAP AI Core
- Exposure to integrating AI tools like Joule or similar assistants within SAP environments
- Prior involvement with fleet routing or logistics functionality via SAP BTP
