8+ Year Java Spring Boot API AWS Cert Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a team 8+ Year Java Spring Boot API AWS Certified Developer in Plano, TX. This is an opportunity for full-time employment with the client.

Duties Include:
* Design and build scalable and secure backend services using frameworks like Spring Boot
* Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices
* Ensure efficient data flow and build stream processing applications using Apache Kafka
* Utilize data serialization formats such as Avro and JSON
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience in backend development and microservices architecture
* Strong proficiency in Core Java/Data structures
* Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, multi-threading, testing, and operational stability
* Solid understanding of agile methodologies and engineering discipline such as CI/CD, BDD, Application Resiliency, and Security
* Strong proficiency in frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
* Strong proficiency in Infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
* Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
* Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS), containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
* In-depth knowledge of Apache Kafka's architecture, configuration, and best practices
* Data Serialization Formats: Familiarity with formats like Avro and JSON
* Strong communication skills and leadership experience
* Developer or Solutions Architect Level AWS Certification
* Experience with Observability tools like Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, or Grafana
* Experience with distributed databases such as AWS RDS databases
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:
* Experience with React or any front-end UI development
* Willingness to learn React for potential future projects

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
