We're looking for a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to join a team focused on building and maintaining resilient, enterprise-level infrastructure. This role involves working on critical projects that support connectivity, telephony systems, and fiber network management. This role is on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Responsibilities:
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of computing and networking systems for medium-to-large scale environments.
Analyze and resolve advanced technical issues to ensure consistent service delivery.
Provide mentorship to team members and offer expertise on complex operational problems.
Develop, execute, and refine disaster recovery strategies, including coordinating regular drills.
Create, review, and update technical documentation and training materials for users.
Drive system enhancements and actively participate in Agile development processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align networking solutions with organizational goals.
Manage relationships with vendors to optimize services and solutions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in networked environments, including PC support and enterprise infrastructure.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows administration, including imaging, profile migration, and hardware diagnostics.
Comprehensive knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, routers, and enterprise environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and resolve complex technical challenges.
Familiarity with Cisco routers and networking systems.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and cloud database management.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate across departments.
