Brief Summary about the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of personalized customer journeys. This role will focus primarily on Marketing Cloud, while integrating and leveraging data from Sales Cloud and Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform) to deliver a connected and intelligent customer experience.
You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and data teams to unify customer profiles, segment audiences, and execute targeted campaigns across channels like email, mobile, and web. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and business-savvy, capable of translating customer engagement goals into high-performing, automated marketing journeys.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement cross-channel marketing journeys using Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Mobile Studio.
Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud to build dynamic audience segments and enable real-time personalization.
Set up and manage connections between Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud using Marketing Cloud Connect.
Leverage Data Cloud for identity resolution, customer profile unification, and behavioral segmentation.
Use AMPscript and SSJS to personalize content and enhance email/SMS campaigns.
Build automation workflows using Automation Studio for triggered campaigns and data processing.
Collaborate with Sales Cloud users to sync leads, contacts, and campaign influence metrics.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure delivery of high-impact marketing initiatives.
Provide insights and reporting on campaign performance using Datorama or Marketing Cloud Intelligence.
Required Skills and Experience
4 6 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Solid understanding of Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio.
Proficient in AMPscript, SSJS, and using APIs for integrations.
Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud data objects (leads, contacts, opportunities).
Experience working with Salesforce Data Cloud for customer unification and segmentation (preferred).
Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect or integration tools like MuleSoft.
Familiarity with data extensions, contact builder, and subscriber management.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Salesforce certifications in Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, or Data Cloud Consultant are a plus.
