Position: Senior Business Analyst Workday
Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with deep Workday expertise who will play a critical role in assessing business needs, defining system enhancements, and ensuring the successful rollout and user adoption of Workday solutions. This role will support not only the core business analysis tasks but also assist in developing end-user training materials, staging training environments, and supporting overall change readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze requirements related to Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Finance, Payroll, or Recruiting) for the purpose of developing training materials.
- Identify user specific Workday training needs and develop training plans.
- Assist in Workday testing and supporting UAT.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business and technical teams to develop job aids, quick reference guides, and end-user documentation.
- Support the staging and management of Workday training environments, ensuring accurate and relevant data is available for learning scenarios.
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of training sessions, demos, or onboarding support for new Workday features.
- Monitor and identify any Workday performance and/or user feedback during training to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support change management and communication efforts related to Workday enhancements and rollouts.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of Business Analyst experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Workday experience.
- Experience analyzing systems to develop training plans and materials.
- Experience supporting Workday implementations or enhancements in large or complex organizations.
- Familiarity with Workday tools such as Workday Studio, Report Writer, and Business Process Framework is a plus.
- Experience supporting the creation of training documentation, job aids, and end-user communications.
- Ability to work with technical teams to stage and maintain training environments and sandbox data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday certification(s)
- Experience with change management, end-user enablement, or LMS tools.
