RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking a detail-oriented Matillion Developer to design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions supporting electric utility data initiatives.
Summary:
In this role, you will build robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion to process and transform large volumes of data from advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), distributed energy resources (DER), grid sensors, and other operational systems. Your work will help utilities enable advanced analytics, optimize grid operations, and enhance customer insights.
Responsibilities:
* Develop scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift)
* Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions
* Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of integrated data
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL workflows for performance and cost efficiency
* Develop reusable components and frameworks to accelerate future development efforts
* Ensure adherence to data security, privacy, and governance standards in all data integration processes
* Document design, technical specifications, and operational procedures
* Stay up-to-date with Matillion features and industry best practices to continuously improve data integration capabilities
REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
