Position: Security Analyst

Education: Bachelor s degree or master s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or other related field is required. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the educational requirement.

Certifications: Related certifications In the field

Required Experience:

1. IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge in architecture design, software development, database management systems and systems integration in multi-platform environments.
2. Experience drafting policies, disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans.
3. Experience in information gathering sessions for technical requirements and leading technical tabletop exercises.

Responsibilities:

1. Establishing and continuously enhancing the COOP programs, plans and processes for the department in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
2. Establishing and continuously enhancing the DR programs, plans and processes for the department in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
3. Establishing and continuously enhancing the Risk Management programs, plans, and processes in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
4. Research mandates, regulations and rules for Information Security requirements for the agency.
5. Conduct interviews and information gathering meetings.
6. Lead tabletop exercises relating to COOP, Risk Management and DR in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
7. Establish applicable security policies and best practices.
