Content Specialist III
100% Remote
6+ months contract role
Pay Rate: $55-58, DOE an hour on W2
Summary:
The main function of a content specialist is to write, review and edit content on platforms , as well as insights around that content. The typical specialist will have excellent editorial judgment, expert writing and editing skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Write, edit and review content for platforms, ranging from creative copy to straightforward, informative text.
Perform analysis and produce reports with compelling, actionable insights for our partners.
Apply review guidelines to content at scale, maintaining commitment to accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with our content and product teams to improve user experience.
Minimum qualifications:
6+ years of experience with journalism, digital content strategy, production and relevant skills.
Prior experience in prompt engineering, annotation and managerial experience preferred.
Familiarity with AI tools.
Familiarity with AP Style.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Proficiency in spreadsheet apps (e.g. Google Sheets, MS Excel) and/or other data analytics tool.
Ability to perform and support basic data analysis and visualization.
Audio or video expertise.
Backgrounds with visual experience (photo editing, video production) or creative writing.
Preferred qualifications:
Deep knowledge of the social media landscape.
Experience system prompting or prompt engineering.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree required.
