Scrum Master

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Smithfield, RI that is seeking a Scrum Master.

Responsibilities:
* The Scrum Master will implement and maintain Agile frameworks and practices within assigned teams
* Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives
* Coach team members on Agile principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement
* Identify and help remove impediments to team progress
* Promote transparency and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders
* Support backlog refinement, release planning, and delivery tracking
* The Scrum Master will use data and metrics to drive process improvements and team performance
* Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile leaders to align on best practices and delivery goals

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of experience in a dedicated Scrum Master role
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
* Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and project management principles
* Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Jira Align
* Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Experience working in a technology delivery environment
* Ability to influence without authority and resolve conflicts effectively

Preferred Skills:
* Experience supporting Kanban teams and managing cross-team dependencies
* Familiarity with release management and change control processes
* Strong analytical skills and experience using delivery metrics to guide improvements
* Business acumen and ability to align team efforts with strategic goals
* Experience working with data and analytics teams is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
