Overview:

Join Humana Military's Provider Data Solutions team to support the TRICARE T5 contract and deliver impactful technology for our nation's heroes. This role is focused on hands-on development and complex data work within a caring, collaborative environment.

Our team works with large-scale provider data and plays a key role in processing, preparation, dissemination, and access to provider data. Our technology stack includes web apps, APIs, backend non-UI data integration and transformation processes, etc. The role offers a unique opportunity for technical growth and in-depth exposure to the provider domain within the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, and backend data integration processes using C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core, MVC, legacy frameworks).
  • Write advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and work with multiple complex databases for data processing and transformation.
  • Oversee software quality assurance, testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business partners to deliver features and improvements.
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to best practices, modernization, and upgrades.
  • Integrate source control and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
  • Optional: Contribute to front-end/UI work (Vue JS, JQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML).
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (SCRUM/Kanban); understand business purpose of software requests.
  • Provide scheduled on-call support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years as a senior-level software engineer
  • Extensive hands-on experience with C# and .NET technologies.
  • Advanced SQL experience (complex queries, multi-table joins, stored procedures, views).
  • Experience with source control, CI/CD, and upgrading .NET frameworks.
  • Skilled with development tools (Visual Studio, Fiddler/Postman).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in healthcare, military, or government sectors.
  • Experience with front-end/UI development.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$106,900 - $147,000 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
