Job Details

Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Functional Architect
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite/Hybrid if applicable)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the functional architecture and solution design for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and map them to scalable and compliant S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions.

  • Drive fit-to-standard workshops, configuration, and integration efforts across OTC, SD, MM, and PP modules.

  • Provide expert guidance on best practices, data migration, and system integration.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to functional consultants and junior team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 years of SAP experience, with at least 3 4 successful end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.

  • Deep expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) and strong functional knowledge in SD, MM, and PP modules.

  • Solid understanding of the SAP Activate methodology, especially in Public Cloud environments.

  • Proven experience conducting fit-gap analysis, writing functional specs, and leading configuration activities.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to operate independently in a senior leadership and advisory capacity.

Nice to Have:

  • SAP certifications in S/4HANA Cloud modules.

  • Prior experience working with clients in manufacturing, oil & gas, or energy sectors.

  • Exposure to SAP BTP or integration with third-party cloud platforms.
