Oracle HCM Cloud – Benefits & Time and Labor Consultant
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the functional lead and subject matter expert for both Oracle HCM Cloud Benefits and Time and Labor (OTL) modules.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, performing fit-gap analysis and mapping them to Oracle HCM Cloud functionalities.
- Configure, test, and deploy both Benefits and Time & Labor modules, ensuring accurate setup of benefits plans, eligibility rules, time entry, validation, approval workflows, and calculation rules.
- Integrate Benefits and Time & Labor with other Oracle HCM modules such as Payroll, Absence Management, and Compensation, as well as with relevant third-party systems (e.g., biometric devices, benefit carriers).
- Support data migration, interface development, and reporting (including BI Publisher and OTBI reports).
- Provide end-user training, support UAT, and ensure smooth post-go-live stabilization.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to both modules and resolve them in coordination with cross-functional and technical teams.
- Maintain awareness of Oracle quarterly release updates and apply relevant enhancements to both Benefits and OTL.
Recommend process improvements and best practices to optimize HR operations.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience in multiple end-to-end implementations of Oracle HCM Cloud (at least one in both Benefits and Time and Labor modules).
- Strong understanding of benefits administration processes and time tracking business rules.
- Experience with integration points between Benefits, OTL, Payroll, and Absence Management.
- Proficiency with Oracle reporting tools (BI Publisher, OTBI) and data loaders.
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to document requirements and conduct functional workshops.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
