We're hiring a Network Engineer for a 5-day onsite role in Des Moines! This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity for candidates who are looking to grow with a company that values long-term commitment and technical excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing and configuring next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto preferred).

  • Supporting Cisco routing and switching (OSPF and BGP a must).

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure across multiple sites.

  • Working with tools like Cisco ISE, Panorama; automation experience is a plus.

  • Responding to NOC alerts and participating in an on-call rotation.

  • Handling compliance responsibilities (e.g., NERC CIP training).

What We're Looking For:

  • 2–3+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.

  • Strong grasp of subnetting, routing protocols, and firewall configurations.

  • Operational Technology (OT) experience is a big plus.

  • Self-driven, independent, and reliable team player.

Important Notes:

  • 100% Onsite in Des Moines – no remote or hybrid options.

  • Contract-to-hire only – NO C2C.

  • Client will sponsor upon conversion to FTE.
