Job Description:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced GIS Project Manager to support the day-to-day development activities of cross-functional teams, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. This role will play a critical part in the successful execution of Project Dagobah, a high-visibility initiative led by our Economic Development and Site Development teams.


Key Responsibilities:


Coordinate and manage daily development activities across multiple teams.


Prepare and manage development sprints, adjusting priorities as needed based on business demands and feedback.


Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues as appropriate


Serve as the primary liaison between development teams and business stakeholders, regularly communicating project status, risks, and changes.


Facilitate the integration of stakeholder feedback into project plans and sprint cycles.


Conduct first-level reviews of project documentation, including:


Runbook updates


Methodology documentation


Decision logs


Status reports


Required Qualifications:


3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project management.


Proven experience managing GIS-related projects or working in GIS environments.


Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.


Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in cross-functional (XFN) team settings.


Prior experience in technology or software development environments.


Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across business units.


Bachelor's degree required.


Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) required.


Nice to Have:


Familiarity with Economic Development or Site Development domains.


Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
