Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee technology operations for our organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a long-term contract opportunity that requires a strong background in IT systems, infrastructure, and strategy. The role involves managing critical IT functions while ensuring smooth operation and alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the implementation and management of Cisco and cloud technologies to support organizational needs.

Lead the administration and optimization of CRM and ERP systems to enhance business processes.

Manage Active Directory and ensure secure access and authentication across the network.

Conduct audits and assessments to maintain compliance and improve IT operations.

Implement and maintain backup solutions to ensure data integrity and recovery.

Supervise computer hardware and configuration management to support operational efficiency.

Coordinate with stakeholders to align IT strategies with business objectives.

Ensure proper documentation and adherence to best practices in IT systems management.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Train and mentor team members to enhance skills and improve overall IT performance

Requirements

Proven experience with Cisco technologies and cloud-based systems.

In-depth knowledge of CRM and ERP platforms.

Familiarity with Dell technologies and computer hardware.

Strong expertise in Active Directory and configuration management.

Demonstrated ability to conduct IT audits and implement backup solutions.

Solid understanding of enterprise-level IT infrastructure and operations.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and projects.

SolidWorks Engineering Software Experience
  • Candidates should have experience with technical support of the engineering software, SolidWorks. This is a critical component to their business.
  • SolidWorks, related certs are preferred: Certified SolidWorks Expert, Solidworks API Professional, PDM Administrator Professional
  • Needs to be familiar with typical CAD/product engineering document and file management workflows, typical issues and related troubleshooting skills.

Public Company Experience
  • Candidates should have some level of experience administrating user access in SaaS solutions. Experience working in a public company / SOX regulated environment is a plus.
  • Having experience with applications such as SAP by Design (not the typical SAP ERP) and Paylocity is a plus.
