Description:

We’re seeking an experienced SailPoint IdentityIQ Professional to join the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). The ideal candidate will drive system enhancements, perform upgrades, optimize workflows, and ensure audit readiness for a large-scale Identity Governance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage SailPoint upgrade from version 8.3 to 8.4/8.5 with minimal disruption.
• Design and implement a new Access History database for workflow tracking.
• Enable and configure audit logging across SailPoint components.
• Identify and resolve bugs, inefficiencies, and coding issues in the existing environment.
• Review and improve business and workflow processes for scalability and compliance.
• Manage TOSC Review Status functionality (enhancements or removal).
• Customize and optimize email notification templates and workflow timing.
• Configure notifications for approval workgroups and refine user management logic.
• Reconcile supervisor and service accounts, including disabled and rehire workflows.
• Evaluate and correct Active Directory (AD) role/entitlement integrations.
• Develop multi-approver role workflows and automate contractor account suspensions.
• Implement deprovisioning alerts and ensure proper lifecycle management.
• Document maintenance reports and analytics queries for identity operations.
• Define and enforce onboarding, role, and permission standards in the OT environment.
• Lead data validation, cleanup, and certification for improved access governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ implementations and upgrades.
• Expertise in identity governance, workflow automation, and access management.
• Strong knowledge of database design and audit logging related to identity systems.
• Proficiency in Beanshell, Java, and XML configuration within SailPoint.
• Experience integrating SailPoint with Active Directory and enterprise systems.
• Strong ability to analyze and optimize notifications, workflows, and role models.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience working in OT or regulated environments preferred.

Preferred:

• SailPoint Certification (IdentityIQ).
• Experience with advanced analytics and reporting tools.
