IT Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist to provide direct technical expertise, support, and oversight of the IT department systems. The IT Asset Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and other technology-related resources. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with various departments to ensure efficient asset management. to actively manage these systems while maintaining maximum operational readiness and life cycle value.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3 years experience in IT asset management
• Experience in ServiceNow Hardware and Software Asset Management
• Strong understanding of IT hardware and software processes
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
• Possession of a valid Class C driver s license.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of the principles and practices of facilities maintenance and asset management.
• Previous experience in IT asset management or a related role preferred.
• Strong understanding of IT hardware and software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using asset management software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of IT procurement processes and vendor management.
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks is a plus.
