Our client is looking to hire a mid-level Quality & Integration Analyst to serve as the hands-on QA owner for the Personalized Insights product. This role focuses primarily on manual testing of mobile app functionality, API validation, and ensuring that all backend systems, data pipelines, and mobile experiences connect seamlessly.
The analyst will coordinate testing across multiple teams, manage data validation scenarios, and act as the day-to-day liaison between product, data, and engineering groups to ensure quality from end to end. The ideal candidate will also bring a thought-leadership mindset - helping the team think through edge cases, identify potential gaps, and anticipate issues before launch.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary QA lead for the Personalized Insights initiative, managing quality assurance activities across multiple systems and teams.
• Perform manual functional and data testing for the mobile app experience to ensure insights display accurately and reliably across various devices and user scenarios.
• Manage and execute test cases using QTest, ensuring full test coverage for MVP and subsequent releases.
• Use JIRA and Confluence to track test execution, manage defects, document findings, and support agile team collaboration.
• Validate API integrations and data flows between backend systems and the mobile application to confirm the right triggers and responses are being processed.
• Work within SLOS Labs (or similar mobile device testing platforms) to test the app across different device types and OS versions.
• Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to condition and validate test data, ensuring proper handling of transaction data, payment history, and subscription-related events.
• Collaborate daily with test leads, developers, and product owners to ensure cross-team alignment and timely resolution of issues.
• Act as a connector and communicator between multiple technical groups to ensure end-to-end quality visibility.
• Provide thought leadership in QA - proactively identify areas that may have been overlooked, recommend additional test coverage, and advocate for continuous improvement.
• Participate in release readiness reviews, regression testing, and post-launch validation activities.
• Document and communicate findings clearly, ensuring leadership and stakeholders are informed of quality status and risk areas.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of QA, integration testing, or digital product testing experience.
• QTest - test case management, tracking, and reporting
• JIRA & Confluence - agile collaboration, defect tracking, and documentation
• API Integration Testing - ability to validate data flow between backend and frontend systems
• Manual Testing Expertise - particularly within mobile app environments
• Strong understanding of data validation, event flow, and test data management

Bonus Skills

• SLOS Labs or similar mobile device testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Perfecto)
• Selenium or Tosca - for automation exposure (not required)
• Kafka - familiarity with event-driven data pipelines
• Exposure to data-driven personalization or insight-based systems
• Understanding of mobile analytics and how data informs digital experiences
