Job Title: Google CCAI & Vertex AI Architect (Remote Contract)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AI Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Google CCAI (Contact Center AI) and Vertex AI. The ideal candidate will have led real-world projects focused on call center automation, leveraging advanced machine learning and conversational AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and implement production-grade Machine Learning (ML) models, including LLMs, model evaluation, and MLOps pipelines.
Design and deploy ML solutions using Google Vertex AI, Python, and related Google Cloud Platform tools for Conversational AI use cases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into scalable and efficient AI solutions.
Work with Google CCAI / Google Insights CES platform and its ecosystem for intelligent call center automation.
Develop and enhance agentic architectures and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.
Conduct model validation and performance testing using appropriate evaluation frameworks and metrics.
Optimize models for efficiency, accuracy, and performance; experience in Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT) is a plus.
Stay current with the latest developments in machine learning, LLMs, and cloud AI services.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of total experience in software engineering, AI, or data science.
Proven experience designing and implementing solutions using Google Vertex AI and Google CCAI.
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with MLOps tools.
Hands-on exposure to LLMs, Conversational AI, and call center automation.
Experience with model evaluation frameworks, agentic architectures, and RAG implementations.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience with Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT) methods.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Insights CES and Voice AI systems.
Additional Information:
Work Authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. (We are unable to sponsor visas at this time.)
Remote Flexibility: Fully remote within the U.S.
