Genesis10 is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a full-time position with a client located in Milwaukee, WI. This role is 100% onsite.
Compensation: $16.00-18.00 per hour.

The Technical Support Specialist will provide advanced technical assistance and implementation support for PC, mobile, software, and network environments. This individual will deliver exceptional omni-channel technical support in a fast-paced setting, ensuring a high-quality client experience across both field and home office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize knowledge of PC, mobile device, hardware, software configurations, operating systems, and LAN to resolve technical issues and provide implementation support for customers.
- Deliver omni-channel technical support (Home Office and Field) in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while multitasking or prioritizing efforts as needed.
- Conduct initial client consultations, applying functional and technical knowledge for issue analysis, using software tools to develop solutions, and testing fixes to resolve issues on first contact when possible.
- Pursue more sophisticated assignments and issue resolutions to gain experience as a multi-functional technical domain specialist supporting both Field and Home Office technology.
- Identify process and service improvement opportunities with a continuous learning mindset; partner with experienced team members to drive innovation and idea implementation.
- Establish effective interpersonal relationships with internal and external teams and participate in temporary project or support assignments as needed.
- Leverage communication channels and knowledge management resources to execute processes, resolve issues, and enhance the client experience by setting clear expectations and offering improvement suggestions.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field or at least 6 years of directly related work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of advanced technical knowledge in computer and mobile device hardware and software troubleshooting, including proficiency with remote support tools.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to support both internal (Home Office) and external (Field) clients.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
- Adaptability to evolving business and technology environments.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and create a positive client experience.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative and motivation to contribute to process improvements.
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp).
