We are actively recruiting a Procurement Analyst for our client in Athens, TN. This is a direct placement opportunity that will require working onsite in Athens. The successful candidate will oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure seamless operations, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods. This role requires strategic thinking, operational expertise, and strong leadership capabilities to guide teams and manage vendor relationships effectively. Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage the strategies that enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with broader organizational goals.

Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics while identifying areas for continuous improvement.

Foster relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure delivery timelines and quality standards are met.

Coordinate procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or surpluses.

Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt strategies accordingly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., APICS, ISM) are a plus.

Proven experience in supply chain management or operations leadership roles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.

Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, manage teams, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in managing global supply chains or working with international vendors.

Understanding of sustainability practices within supply chain processes.

Ability to innovate and streamline operations using emerging technologies.
