Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Optimize Processes: Develop, enhance, and document efficient manufacturing processes that meet production and quality goals.
  • Machine Programming: Program lasers, press brakes, and similar machines; must be capable of writing G-code and using PEP software.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, QA, and project management teams to address challenges and drive improvements.
  • Technology Implementation: Integrate new tools, automation, and smart manufacturing technologies into daily operations.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve production issues rapidly and effectively to minimize downtime and boost productivity.
  • Data-Driven Analysis: Leverage data to identify inefficiencies, track KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Process Documentation: Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation for manufacturing procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and cost-reduction initiatives to enhance timelines, output, and cost-effectiveness.

What We re Looking For

  • Process Knowledge: In-depth understanding of modern manufacturing methodologies and production tools.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Machine programming: Hurco, G-code, PEP software
    • Familiarity with CAD software, ERP systems
    • Background in metal manufacturing preferred
  • Problem Solving: Proactive, analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve technical issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across engineering, QA, and operations teams.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to precision, quality, and documentation.
  • Adaptability: Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor s in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in manufacturing engineering with a focus on metals or related industries.
  • Certifications: Lean, Six Sigma, or similar credentials are a plus.
  • Location: Must be available onsite daily in Anaheim, CA.
