Description: Job Overview
We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead end-to-end application and system development across complex, multi-technology platforms. This role involves delivering high-quality solutions within assigned client groups, business units, or corporate departments, leveraging diverse customer technology platforms.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and own the change request process, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical guidance and influence decisions impacting multiple teams.
- Research and recommend new technologies to enhance solutions.
- Define application scope, objectives, and prepare technical/functional specifications.
- Conduct technical design and code reviews; ensure unit and system testing meets quality standards.
- Oversee system implementation and monitor performance.
- Support data planning and maintain technical development environments.
- Mentor team members and lead small to medium-sized projects.
- Facilitate design sessions, code reviews, and troubleshooting meetings.
- Drive strategies for resolving technical challenges and ensure adherence to standards.
- Participate in vendor evaluations and decision-making processes.
- Education: BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in application/system development on multi-dimensional platforms.
- Expertise in business and technical applications.
- Strong experience with multiple databases and/or programming languages.
- Proven ability to mentor others and lead projects.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Snowflake, Java, C++.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and version control systems (Git).
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, secure solutions.
