Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled FIX Developer with strong Foreign Exchange (FX) domain expertise to design, implement, and support low-latency FIX integrations for FX pricing engines and trading platforms. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enabling real-time FX pricing, execution, and market data distribution using the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol.

This role requires deep experience in FIX connectivity, backend development (Java preferred), and a strong understanding of FX market structure, pricing, and order management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement FIX-based solutions for FX price distribution and execution systems.

  • Build and maintain robust, low-latency FIX connectivity between pricing engines, trading platforms, and external counterparties.

  • Develop backend services using Java (preferred) or C++, including design, testing, and production support.

  • Monitor real-time FIX message flows, analyze FIX logs, and troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.

  • Develop scalable and high-performance solutions for real-time FX trading systems.

  • Parse and transform FIX messages into downstream formats and integrate with messaging and queueing technologies.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to configure, integrate, and manage FIX sessions.

  • Produce detailed FIX specifications, integration designs, workflows, and operational runbooks.

  • Implement audit, logging, and monitoring capabilities to support troubleshooting and compliance.

  • Provide production support and incident resolution for FX pricing and execution systems.

  • Lead technical discussions and act as a FIX subject matter expert for partners and stakeholders.
