About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support a statewide public initiative based in Texas. This role involves troubleshooting complex networking issues, supporting mission-critical infrastructure, and maintaining network stability across multiple programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, DSLAMs, and nano beam equipment
- Monitor circuit performance and proactively resolve anomalies to prevent outages
- Provide technical support for networking components used across various programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain documentation and logs of network events and resolutions
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in network engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Network Computer Science or a related field
- Active Cisco certification(s) (CCNA, CCDA, or CCNP preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise-scale network environments
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Work Environment & Terms
- Primary Location: Huntsville, TX
- Hybrid work model (On-Site and Telework); remote possible based on approval
- Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST
- Must reside in the State of Texas at the time of application
- Travel and lodging expenses, if applicable, are not reimbursed
