Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Software Solutions Architect to support enterprise healthcare integration initiatives. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining interfaces and integration solutions for a Health Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) environment supporting large-scale healthcare systems and data hubs.

The architect will collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams to improve automated processes, ensure data integrity, maintain compliance standards, and secure healthcare applications. The role also provides technical oversight to teams integrating with the ESB.

Responsibilities

Design and develop integration solutions for new use cases

Build interfaces based on business and technical requirements

Create system architecture and technical design documentation

Develop custom filters and mappers using integration tools

Write JavaScript for message transformations and processing

Develop and consume SOAP and REST APIs

Perform data format translations (HL7, FHIR, CDA, XML, JSON, flat files)

Work on CDA mapping and document conversions

Prepare SDLC and code review documentation

Develop database connections (SQL Server, Oracle)

Configure TCP, HTTP, LLP, and OAuth connections

Ensure overall system design quality and code standards

Required Skills

JavaScript, SQL, XML, HL7 v2.x, HL7 FHIR, CDA standards, Healthcare vocabularies (LOINC, SNOMED, RxNorm), Health Information Exchange (HIE), IHE and Implementation Guides

Desired Skills

Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x)

Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK)

Payload translation across HL7, XML, JSON formats

SOAP, REST, OAuth, TCP, LLP integrations
