About the Role

As a Senior IT Support Specialist on our IT Operations Team, you'll be a key contributor to our internal IT Support, managing projects to improve efficiency and empower our consultants. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations and contribute directly to our ability to deliver exceptional results for our clients. In this role, you will take ownership of key IT functions, proactively identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance our IT infrastructure and security.

 

What You'll Do

 

Guided by Paradigm's mission to turn vision into results, you will:

 

  • Provide expert-level IT set up and support for employees, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues with minimal supervision
  • Create, manage, and optimize user accounts, e-mail, licenses, and access permissions in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD, implementing best practices for security and efficiency
  • Administer company e-mail system (Exchange Online), including spam filters, security policies, and distribution groups
  • Provide timely IT support for employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Ship, track, and recover equipment for remote employees; reset and reconfigure returned equipment for reuse
  • Lead projects related to IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and security enhancements
  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory and asset management records for hardware and software, ensuring compliance and optimizing resource allocation
  • Plan and execute migration and cleanup projects from legacy internal servers to Microsoft 365, streamlining our IT infrastructure and improving security
  • Monitor and maintain office IT infrastructure, networks, and security systems
  • Conduct regular security audits, enforce MFA/SSO, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies
  • Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 environment (OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams), including permissions, governance, and retention policies
  • Complete migration and cleanup projects from legacy internal servers to Microsoft 365; decommission or repurpose outdated systems
  • Standardize and record IT processes, such as onboarding, offboarding, knowledge base management, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Support business continuity efforts, including data backups, restoration testing, and disaster recovery planning
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, systems, and vendors to improve IT operations

 

  • NOTE: This position is Onsite 3 Days Per Week

Qualifications

 

  • 5-10+ years of progressive experience in IT support and systems administration, supporting both onsite and remote users in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert-level experience provisioning, managing, and troubleshooting Windows and MacOS endpoints (Autopilot, Intune, Jamf, MDT, or similar)
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including user provisioning, license management, Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure AD
  • Strong experience with endpoint management/MDM (Microsoft Intune or equivalent) and remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Microsoft Remote Desktop)
  • Deep understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS), VPNs, and Wi-Fi, with the ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity issues
  • Expertise in implementing and managing MFA/SSO, Azure AD Conditional Access policies, and e-mail security protocols (SPF/DKIM/DMARC)
  • Proven experience planning and executing migrations from on-prem/file shares to Microsoft 365 with minimal disruption
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise SOPs, knowledge base articles, and training materials
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Certifications in Microsoft 365 (Modern Desktop Administrator Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Security), CompTIA Security+, or Apple/Jamf
  • In-depth experience with Azure AD Conditional Access and hybrid environments
  • Project Management experience, with a proven ability to lead and deliver various IT projects on time and within budget
  • Vendor Management and Procurement experience, including negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships
  • Excellent customer service, training, and presentation skills
