Position Overview:

• The IT Service Management CMDB Analyst, under the supervision of the IT Service Manager and following ITIL best practices, will be involved in all aspects of service management for MCIT.
• Seeking a dynamic and experienced CMDB Analyst to join the Service Management team.
• The CMDB Analyst is crucial in ensuring the data quality of all Medical Center IT Configuration Items (CIs).
• This role involves effective communication across teams and promoting ITIL best practices.
• The position requires a strong understanding of ITIL processes, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure, 24 / 7 operational environments.
• The ideal consultant will have hands-on experience with CMDB.
• Reporting directly to the Senior Director, this role is an integral part of our Service Management group.
  

Responsibilities:

• Manage CMDB: Maintain the CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Data Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the integrity of CMDB data.
• Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to maintain CMDB processes.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and analyze CMDB data to support business decisions and improve IT service management.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance CMDB functionality.
  

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes for CMDB.
  • Experience with ISM tool.
  • Experience with process design and process improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Proficient in using relevant technical tools and software.
  • Experience with hands-on implementation of ITIL best practices is desired. ITIL v4 Foundations certification is required.

• Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
